Go on.
Hi. If you happened to browse this blog, it means that you are one of the few people I've decided to share this tiny space with. This is my escape from all of life's idiosyncrasies. This page is a reflection of how I choose to spend everyday. It's pretty much petty in some ways but that's how it is. Ciao.

So I tweeted yesterday about Patricia Evangelista's article on Rappler (see: http://www.rappler.com/nation/39988-the-song-of-zamboanga) . It was about a family losing their two-year-old son to the MNLF and the military crossfire in Zambo. More than the story itself, I loved how Patricia crafted every word, every line and how she made every note bang. I believe she masters on tragic and heart-piercing stories such as this and the one she wrote about Jonas Burgos. I literally shed tears for both articles. I guess that's how powerful words are; they make you transcend beyond horizons, taking you to a different paradigm.

But to top it all, another person who I look up to in the field of writing and journalism retweeted me! Hihi. It's Rappler CEO Maria Ressa. I couldn't be happier!

And you know a fan girl always keeps screenshots, right?

And last night I felt the urge to write again. Not to write literally but to write a sensible article or a story, a feature story most probably. I really miss writing my own features and getting caught between lines; making me feel happy, sad, angry and longing all at once. Hay. Accounting is making me the less writer I was. So I posted again on Facebook! lol there's the sequel. You didn't see it coming. And my idol who I've been stalking for long now liked my stat! Ahhh, it's a good morning indeed! I love this woman's personality. Won't talk about it for it might creep you out. :))) but she's a writer, too! And I adore her so much! Her name's Jane!
I told you, a fan girl always..
